Hi have you done Baker’s VI? If so, I’m happy to provide insight on Goodwin’s VI.Anyone have insights on Goodwin VI? I can help with CMS, A&O, Baker Mckenzie, Latham, Weil VI, also been to Weil, Baker Mckenzie, Latham Open days

I treated it as an opportunity to respond to a written question, so I wrote in paragraphs. However, I've had no guidance on this from them directly, so it's just what I chose to do.For HL DTC, one question is providing details of any open days and events you’ve attended. Do I just list them or give further details? Anyone who’s applied for HL DTC please help, thanks!

I attended an event last year and I’d say this is the right approach, they suggested picking 3 or 4 and going into detail about what you learnt/gainedI treated it as an opportunity to respond to a written question, so I wrote in paragraphs. I think its common practice to just list! For HL DTC, one question is providing details of any open days and events you’ve attended. Do I just list them or give further details? Anyone who’s applied for HL DTC please help, thanks!
Hi!Thanks for the advice on HL everyone! Have another question on this: how do firms usually treat applications when you haven’t attended any events/open days with them? And should you list events with other firms as well? Appreciate any advice, thanks!
It largely depends on the firm. At the end of my second year, I applied to Ashurst's DTC and made it to the final round without any legal experience (only open days). But I have heard that other firms (Macs, HL) tend to be more picky about the exp required for the DTC route.I want to do some DTC application but I am very aware of the fact that I have never done a VS and I don't have much legal work experience. At the moment, I am working on both but would that necessarily be a deal breaker for firms?
still waiting!anyone else hear back from freshfields for ac or pfo, seems like they were giving out both early this week.
I would say always apply - you never know!Is it worth applying to HL DTC if you’ve had some internships but no extensive experience (e.g. paralegal experience)
