Hey all, any tips for my OC AC tomorrow? It's my first AC so not sure what to expect

Hey I had mine last week and very much felt the same as I hadn't done an AC before, other firms I had progressed with in the past didn't have an AC.

However there is nothing unexpected, it is exactly what the invite says, a commercial exercise including presentation and a WG. Nothing unexpected or untoward, if yours is tomorrow you should be able to log in to the platform now and see the timings of everything.

Hi! I had my interview last week and they told me that I should hear back by the end of February as they are still interviewing people. As they do not have a lot of places on their vac scheme, they are probably waiting for everyone to finish their interviews and then make the decision?

Ironically, this is my only cycle I actually have good legal experience and it’s the only cycle I haven’t had any successful apps. It seems that firms think undergrads are more attractive than graduates

May I ask you what do you mean by non-conventional approach?

If you refer to firms heavily hiring from direct TC, then I would say US firms. However, bear in mind that they have small intakes.
For what concerns UK firms, I would say that Slaughter and FF hire also from direct TC.

Most US firms don’t hire direct tc I thought?

My opinion would be that it doesn't necessarily mean you will be written off. I think GR knows how stressful these can be and how technical errors or difficulty can happen and so provided that the rest of your answer and the following answers were good, they wouldn't necessarily reject you based on that! I have no idea how long they take to get back but if they wait until after all ACs as some firms do you will be waiting a little while yet, my AC for TW is early March.
