Spring. It took them some time to reply, as I did the VI on the 20th of December and the written assessment a few days after!

Would it be possible for me to ask graduate recruitment to move my application for the direct TC as I can’t do the Summer VS either. Hi there - yes, you can definitely ask this and there is no harm in doing so. Just be prepared for them to say no and basically bat it back to you and state that it will be with you to decide whether you proceed with your VI and potentially renege on your existing Spring offer, or withdraw from the recruitment process. They might be able to transfer you across to a direct TC, but some firms will just tell you to reapply at the appropriate time if that is what you want to do.

Hey everyone, Im applying to Paul Hastings work placement (their version of VC) and Im a bit confused about their questions;
Why do you wish to complete a work placement with us? and What has attracted you to Paul Hastings?

I feel like both questions are super similar: also can I discuss why I want to train at PH in the first question? I cant seem to find any info on the work placement

Do you know whether those on the Paul Hastings placement is automatically considered for the TC? or do we need to send a seperate app for the TC?

It's not hard but when they tell you to prepare...they aren't joking. The timer is literally on the screen whilst you're thinking and answering. 30 seconds to prepare and 1 minute & 30 seconds to answer. The actually VI is fine
