I applied to the london office like last week and got an email this afternoon, pretty sure they're still working through them coz deadline day was today idk if its automatic so maybe im wrong

I had an interview with Withers exactly 2 weeks ago today for the spring vac scheme. At the end of the interview, they said they aim to respond to all applicants within 2 weeks. As I haven't heard back yet, should I assume it's a rejection?

Hill Dickinson assessment invite! Was waiting forever for that one. Does anyone have any advice for an Amberjack assessment? It is my first time doing one and from what I have read on this forum, I should be wary of it

For Spring applicants, how long did it take to hear back from Dechert (post VI and WE) and Bakers (post VI)?

I did the Dechert VI mid Feb
Bakers VI last week

For me I am going to gain some experience in the coming months and reapply for the vacation schemes in the next cycle.

In the meantime I will also work on the areas where I lacked this cycle e.g. VIs and the WG. I thought about direct tcs so I might fill in maybe two applications but I will focus mainly on the VS for the next cycle and how I can make my application better.

What about you?

I think you are right. Especially with my finals coming in 2 months, it might be best for me to drop everything now and focus on my study to hopefully get a 1st. I might consider to apply for some summer intern outside law to gain some experience or maybe a placement year.

I agree, as I am a recent graduate I don't have any exams to take but I think internships or any job law/non-law is something that can help me make my CV better and increase my chances.

I recently took a verbal reasoning for a law firm -right before to the test I did many examples tests at the same space (like for a good 4 hours ) although initially the environment was suitable for taking the test, when I started there were noises/distractons out of my control that affected my performance in the first half of the assessment- would you recommend me to get in touch with the firm/ or would it be a bad impression/ or accept the defeat

Unfortunately the firm cannot do anything about this, so I would just wait to see the outcome from the assessment.
