it’s getting frustrating now. i applied in mid november and passed the test a few days later, haven’t heard a peep since then. i don’t even know if they’re still giving out ac invites

im pretty sure they haven’t started ACs for summer…cz arent they still doing spring ACs?

I'm sure I will, but it does suggest your analysis is wide of the mark.

loads of my friends recruited for finance - they normally progress to vi stage very quickly if u pass hr screening, but it seems that they just leave you in limbo forever if you don't. if you submitted a while ago i'd regard it as a lost cause tbh (but never say never)

I'm really surprised by how calm and composedly you can approach the Ropes & Gray application question.

This was the first application where it felt like there's nothing I thought the firm is expecting to hear so my judgment while writing wasn't getting clouded. It's just firm research and your understanding and insights into law firms as a business which is such a hot commercial awareness topic this year anyway!

The only thing that makes me anxious about Ropes is the huge cut between application and AC. They mentioned in the TCLA webinar they only take 80 people to AC after screening applications. No other processes in-between. Chunky cut !

That's what makes it so crazy. It's a huge jump, so even strong candidates will get cut. Fingers crossed for us all
