Technical side of virtual ACs

I've got an upcoming assessment centre and am slightly worried about the technical aspect. For example:

  • Am I sharing my screen the whole day?
  • Is someone going to be watching my screen while I do my written assessment?
  • Should I, therefore, have my laptop completely clear of anything else? (I have lots of things open that are work related etc)
Would be great to know everyone else's experience with virtual assessment days in this regard.

I think it depends on the firm. For one of my ACs, I was required to keep on the camera whilst reading and preparing for my case study. In another one, I wasn't.

I was having technical issues with my camera for one of my ACs and the graduate recruitment reassured us that if something like that were to happen, we could conduct the case study interview over the phone.
