Hiya!

We are quite a small community at the moment so I thought it would be a good idea to introduce ourselves here. Please also tell us an interesting fact about yourself if you want to!.

I'm Nicole, a future trainee :)

My interests: I love to bake and dance. My not-so-interesting fact is that I don't know how to whistle!

Hey guys, welcome to the site :).

I'm Jaysen, the founder of The Corporate Law Academy. I did my undergrad in law at LSE and the LLM at Cambridge where I specialised in corporate law. Before starting the site, I was a trainee at Weil Gotshal & Manges.

Interesting fact: I have a (giant) puppy named Winston.

Wow I didn't know you left Weil! I did see your thread on The Student Room, you were amazing at helping people out on there and seemed to really enjoy it! Will you still be answering questions there?

I'm Coralin and originally from Greece. I am in my final year at UCL studying law. I did a vacation scheme in my second year and was unsuccessful so I'm hoping to get a TC this year.

My interesting fact is that most of my friends here call me Coraline after the film, (which you should see if you haven't already, it's really good)!

Hello! My name is Ben, I'm from the US but I moved here a couple of years ago. I suspect I'm a bit older than most. I did a scheme over here at Kirkland (unsuccessful) so I'm also doing TC apps this year.

Interesting fact: I ran a company in the US which taught students how to code :)

Hi everyone, this website is incredible !

My name is William and I'm originally from Poland. I am doing the BCL at Oxford at the moment and have done vacation schemes at two UK firms. I am hoping to get into a prestigious US firm if I can.

Hey Everyone. I'm Sarah a third year law student at university of Manchester. I've done one vacation scheme at a local firm.
I'm currently making training contract applications.
The interesting thing about me is that I love videogames.

Hi everyone.

My name is George Kajwenge and I am an international student from Uganda studying law at the University of Exeter. I recently completed my first year and I am very pleased with my results. However, I still feel like my A level grades may let me down when applying for VS and TC's.

I am a Bird & Bird brand ambassador as well as sponsorship and careers officer for the Exeter African Caribbean Society. I have also attended open days at Weil and Latham and Watkins, and a commercial awareness workshop at NRF.

Two fun facts about me are I've summited Mt Kilimanjaro and Mt Meru, and just like Toni, I'm a huge Kanye fan!

PS: I also suck at being concise
PPS: This site is an awesome resource that I'm definitely gonna share with my friends

Hi everyone,

My name is Christy and I am a first year law student at Lancaster University. I have been unwell for 2 years - with an illness which originally meant I had to leave my first degree - but I am more motivated and enthusiastic than ever to give these applications my best shot over the next few years!

This seems like a truly great website that I would really love to be part of during this process.

Fun facts about me are that yoga is my go-to coping mechanism (yes, anywhere wearing anything!!) and I secretly want to be a popstar :)

Welcome Christy, and welcome back to law! Yoga has been on my bucket list for some time now :)
