I think because they have their other vac schemes open that they will just give out invites in stages and figure out who is allocated to which Vac scheme later when offers are made

My theory is that they see how many people fail at the AC stage and then invite new candidates to the AC from a ranked list. Might be wrong tho

I had this thought too but then I considered the fact there seems quite a lot of us still waiting? Maybe this forum is a bad microcosm of applicants still waiting, but I'm just concerned so many of us haven't heard back yet - like how many back ups do they need?!

Yeah I know, I always wonder how proportional this forum is. I also think a lot of people are just watchers and don’t post PFO/AC updates. this thread alone has 10k views but that’s obvious not from individual accounts I would imagined

Is there any difference if you apply through them? Like say, you get a training contract with them, you will still be considered as an A&O Sherman lawyer in the end?

Wow A&O surely must have just passed everyone who got to the interview stage through. Because there’s no way they only did 2 interview rounds. Very selective!

Selective or just lazy? These firms really need to see the application holistically and make decisions.
