If it helps, most recruiters hate most applicant tracking systems. The systems most of the firms use are just as painful for recruiters as they are candidates!
The SQE is not an academic course, so just passing the assessments would not be education as such. If you did a GDL and 2 years of recognised graduate or postgraduate study, then you could have the three years of legal education needed.
You don’t need to NYB to work in New York though - seen...
You won’t be able to if your legal education is only the GDL. You will generally need three years of legal education to be eligible for the New York Bar, so you would need to go on to further study.
You’d be surprised how much “do I like /will I like working with these people” is taken into account! On a more sophosticated level that can also be “do these firm’s values align with ours”.
Price, even when paying out at the very top end of the market, will also be a key factor.
This can be fairly normal for firms who recruit in the summer window. It’s why a lot of firms have a winter recruitment window though to try and avoid these situations.
Law is probably the most stable of industries for graduate jobs, and in particularly training contract numbers. Numbers have been pretty stable even in the worst of recessions (lowest I have seen in the last 20 years is just under 5,000, highest has been about 6,300).

For instance, my ADHD requires no time adjustments but I do require clear instructions or the...
There is the risk of repetition here.
I would say “why the firm” more broadly in the first answer and “why the training contract at the firm” in the latter one though. These answers can then be distinct from one another.
There are not standardised SJTs - these are typically more bespoke to each law firm (and actually any employer).
The questions will help you understand the type of scenarios you will be asked in SJTs, although may not be specific to law, unless the provider is suggesting they are law firm...
I would contact your sponsoring firm to get clarity on this. As they are paying for the course, they may only cover a certain level of the course, and also have plans for which course (if any) comes after this one.
No one will be working weekends.
But rolling recruitment doesn’t mean they are reviewed daily on a working day. They are likely to only review in batches, maybe once a week or every couple of week depending on numbers.
There won’t be a general benchmark unfortunately, because it also depends on the norm group you are being assessed against.
Some firms use their own employees’ results to benchmark you against, others the rest of the applicant pool, in some cases very specific norm groups such as partners in...
