I would explore other options to get there first and if there are no alternatives, then call the firm and explain you cannot travel because of strike action. They will likely change the date or change it to a virtual AC.
Could you not delay the sitting?
I don’t think getting a low score will be an issue, but I think failing on your first sitting could be for some firms.
If you are travelling from far away and it makes your train ticket cheaper travelling the night before, many firms will cover it up to a certain limit/budget.
I don’t know of any that do. I only know of HireVue as a platform that would have AI technology built in. Most of the other providers don’t have that functionality. Some originations that use HireVue don’t even have their AI technology embedded.

I wouldn’t worry about tripping up occasionally or answers sometimes cutting off though - I have seen plenty of candidates get through and do this occasionally.
Even in these instances, the recruiter is making a decision that someone is not getting an offer over someone else. They should be explaining what contributed to that decision, even if it is something quite minor. If they thought you were good enough to be offered, they would offer you...

It’s difficult to know unless you are hearing directly from the team at L&W.
It could easily be a benchmark where individual answers are scored and then you have to achieve a certain score to get through to the next stage, or it could be a simple yes or no decision based on the “interviewers”...
In my opinion, the person who gave you the feedback didn’t do a good job. They should have made it clearer where there were areas from improvement, because there clearly were for you to not be offered.
