Are people wearing suit jackets during their AC/interviews? I am curious what others have been doing or have observed. I do recognise that the standard is formal attire for an interview. However, anecdotally I've heard of some partners suggesting that candidates could lose their tie or were themselves dressed very informally.

Congratulations! I just wanted to ask, when did you complete the WG?
I completed the Linklaters WG in mid-November, would it reflect poorly if I enquire about my score now?
Nope I asked and have made it through to the AC so hasn’t hurt me so far at least..
I would do it by the end of today, just to be safe. I’ve always interpreted as the latter.

If you dont mind me asking then when was your AC, which scheme did you apply for and what was your WG percentile.
From what i can remember i believe there is a notes section where you can make your notes but i personally found it more of a hassle tohaving to keep changing tabs so maybe just have a pen and paper with you? Good luck!!

WOW I mean DUH why are you not SHOUTING ABOUT THIS?! Amazing experience!!!!! it shows so much resilience and strength, the initiative to run a successful business, commercial awareness in terms of dealing with marketing, finance, strategy... use this to your advantage! This is far more relevant than any extracurriculars in my opinion and I wish I was entrepreneurial enough to start my own business! Maybe try to think about what your business may require from a law firm? What about if it was a franchise? How can you show that this work attracts you to becoming a commercial solicitor?

Well I have seen a couple of people from other offices (e.g. Leeds, Scotland) but I haven't seen anybody who applied to Manchester say they have been contacted yet.
