Hi guys, has anyone done the video interview and can share how its structured and some of the questions they were asked?
Many thanks!
Hey! So it’s 45s to prepare 60s to answer and I’m not sure about sharing questions the last time someone did that everyone was getting mad plus all the questions are randomized so you would probably not get the same questions as me anyways but I can guarantee there will be one commercial awareness question and 4 competency based questions

Amazing, thanks that is very useful! How did that go for you?

    hey!
As someone who hadn’t sat a video interview before I would definitely practice recording yourself first, it was something I wish I’d done in advance! It’s such a weird experience it may help you look professional!

I can’t share questions because I’m not sure it would even help since it is randomised! But they are mostly competency based! Know your cv! I practice competency questions before every interview, considering which experience best demonstrates my skills which just helps reassure me!

    Hi all,

Can I clarify a few things regarding the Video Interview, as I’ve seen conflicting information.

1, Is it 60 or 90 seconds designated for answering each question?

2, Is it competency or strengths based?

    Thank you.

Given the current circumstances, I wouldn’t be surprised if we don’t hear back today. They must be under enormous pressure and really stretched with everything that is going on.

Does anyone know the current key commercial issues that training contract applicants need to be confident in for final interviews/assessment centres/case studies at City Law Firms like Bakers? Thanks.

I haven’t but I’m not expecting to til Friday, I read that a lot of grad recruit teams are under a lot of pressure with everything going on! Trying to be patient (still have push notifications on my emails and run to my phone whenever it dings )

Yeah. I have that in mind. But I can totally relate to whatever you said in paranthesis :)
