Dear All,

Has anyone came across the below question:

'Lewis Silkin prides itself on delivering legal advice in a commercial way. What do you think it means to deliver legal advice in a commercial way?'

Thanking in advance.

It's likely alluding to delivering legal advice without advanced legal terminology coupled with delivering tailored solutions to business problems.
Yeah something along those lines would be a good approach I think. Arguably the most important skill for a commercial lawyer is to simply explain legal concepts to clients and figure out ways they can carry out their commercial objectives within a legal framework

Also think about the commercials of the law firm - what makes advice either cost effective or where are their easy value adds for the client
