I got 85th percentile but I still got rejected, so I’d really like to know the answer to this question.

Hello. I was in the 98 percentile and was progressed (it was one of the international TCs though).

I was in the 99 percentile last year and was rejected. I also know people in the 70 percentile but were progressed. I personally don’t think the WG plays THAT much of a role.

Can I apply to BM for a direct TC if I have heard nothing at all about my VS application?

Honestly, I still have no clue how the Capp test works. I always try to be authentic with my answers, but also being mindful of the qualities Linklaters value.

If it helps, my highest attributes were: leadership preference and working with others. My lowest was motivation. It’s hard to decipher how the test works though.

I got an AC invitation but still it is possible that they are still sending WG invite/Initial call invite.

Hi hi! I just typed my name and personal statement into a Word doc and submitted it along with the application form. Have been progressed to the WG stage (this is for their Asia/London TC) so I guess it should be ok not using the template.

Ok so yeah I’ve now concluded that the WG doesn’t hold much weight on the application.

I wanted to know what the chances are of securing a direct training contract if a firm secures places TC via vacation schemes.
I plan on applying to 3 firms for their direct training contract. I’ve missed the window for the VS.

also has anyone been successful in getting a direct training contract with Addleshaw Goddard without having done a vacation scheme?
