Has anyone not received the WG link? I applied Jan 2nd I haven’t received it yet. LOLAnyone have insider knowledge into when HL will get back? Or any updates from HL at all?
It took me about a week to receive mine so I’d maybe considering chasing them now! I applied 4th Jan for reference too hahahaHas anyone not received the WG link? I applied Jan 2nd I haven’t received it yet. LOL
I don’t think they will reply tbh! But yes I’ll give it shotIt took me about a week to receive mine so I’d maybe considering chasing them now! I applied 4th Jan for reference too hahaha
67% increase in apps too. yikes.Anyone waiting on Cooley they said they expect to let shortlisted candidates know from Thursday 24th January
You could always try calling grad recruitment, the front desk may transfer you through their switchboard. I find it silly that they aren’t getting back to people about anything.I don’t think they will reply tbh! But yes I’ll give it shot
Aha yeah, I’m sure they make it really difficult so that’s understandable! Is it there not a time limit then?Yeah, took me more than 45 mins though 😅
I simply don’t understand why they can’t automate it? Fair enough if it’s their second stage but if it’s not, why send it manually? You could always try calling grad recruitment, the front desk may transfer you through their switchboard. I highly wouldn't recommend calling, they're busy enough as it is and may think you're being impatient. Just send an email and I'm sure they'll get back to you soonYou could always try calling grad recruitment, the front desk may transfer you through their switchboard. does anyone know why there's such an influx of candidates this year? this is very speculative but does it have to do with the trash job market at the moment? law is competitive but pretty stable67% increase in apps too. yikes.
I disagree. In circumstances where you haven’t heard back for a considerable amount of time - it’s encouraged by grad rec themselves to either phone up or email as per their instructions at events. Grad rec cannot reject your application based off calling. It would be against their policy. It would be unreasonable however to call straight after you submit your application for example.I highly wouldn't recommend calling, they're busy enough as it is and may think you're being impatient. The VI questions were timed but the rest weren’tAha yeah, I’m sure they make it really difficult so that’s understandable! Is it there not a time limit then?
Just the increased awareness of jobs in the legal sector, I believe. Especially with law firms targeting school students and the new wave of solicitor apprenticeships. The outreach programs, charitable organisations (Aspiring solicitors, upReach, SEO, etc), virtual events, to name a few.does anyone know why there's such an influx of candidates this year? this is very speculative but does it have to do with the trash job market at the moment? law is competitive but pretty stable
