What are the different stages in the application process?

Online application -> Video Interview -> Telephone Interview ->One-day assessment centre -> Training Contract Interview (which I suspect is at the end of the one-day assessment centre).

They have a very rigorous process with VI and TI. Most firms have only either

I believe their TCs are non-rolling, but VSs are rolling

The GR team said that we will hear back in the next couple of weeks. They are internally reviewing every application (not outsourced and not reviewed by a computer), hence why it is taking a lot longer.

If people update the poll when they hear back, that will provide a helpful reflection of where the process is.

The TC interview is only done if you are in the VS. The last step for W&C direct TC is the one day assessment

I've seen successful WC apps which are 894 words long. It's not about how much you write but the quality of your writing, although the best answers say all they need to say in fewer words. 700-750 words is a good benchmark, considering all of the above.

Thanks very much! Do you mean stage as in career/studies. I graduated some years back and currently work in finance. I have no legal experience apart from a Vac Scheme with another firm last year.

Mine was around a page and a half which I’ve heard is generally allowed as a max which I felt was needed. Really hope this is the case lol!
