not sure about PFOs (haven't seen any on this thread but that's not to say they couldn't have sent some). I know White & Case have sent out VIs and offers for interviews/ written assessment and Travers Smith have also sent out some interview invites

I’ve applied to mostly private client firms. I’m struggling to come up with news stories or trends in the market for them to talk about at interview. There aren’t big deals as often the work for individuals. Does anyone have any tips or anywhere they recommend looking to find topics to talk about at interview? I would be so so grateful as feeling really stuck

Heya - Completely understandable. I’d focus on issues or developments related to immigration, family law, tax and so forth, focussing particularly on how they might affect UHNW individuals or foundations etc. Will DM some recommendations to you

I got an offer exactly a week later, but I also know someone from the same AC got an offer exactly 2 weeks later.

I haven’t but I looked back at the thread last year and apparently the first people got their AC invites in March. Hopefully we will just be holding tight for a few more days.

long time no see tcla, after getting about 10 rejections in the same week & taking a mental break, I got invited to white and case AC!!!! There is indeed light at the end of the tunnel ))

I know right. I am still angry at Milbank for straight out refusing to give feedback after we had to travel in 9-5PM for the AC. I was also so exhausted having to travel for it. It's just unprofessional in my opinion.

For those waiting on Mishcon, if you have applied for the summer scheme they are starting to invite people to the case study over the next two months and are still getting through the VI's! Pretty sure the previous AC's have been for the Spring Scheme - that's what was alluded to at my case study ! Good luck all

You could talk about how the Russo-Ukrainian war has resulted in a call for dekelptofication, which could result in law changes for many hnw individuals with money in the UK, especially with regards to property and estates, which are increasingly owned by dirty money.
