While I do agree that it is important to be concise and not waffle, I think that the character count is purposefully quite long as PM doesn't have a pre-AC interview so it's their chance to get to know you. I'm not 100% sure as I'm hoping to qualify with the GDL/LPC route but from what I've heard it seems like the SQE1 will cover some of the same practical elements as the LPC alongside legal knowledge! I was on the reserve list for a different firm and a month later they called me to say a spot had become available! Hi, I haven’t been offered a place for the spring scheme but did my interview for the summer scheme on Monday so I can maybe help! After the application stage there was a Watson Glaser, then the interview with HR which was 45 minutes and I believe the final stage is a written exercise :)- Elle W
