I've decided to scrap watching lectures and just go straight to notes/recall. My process at the moment is:
1. Skim read notes from a textbook chapter
2. Write my own notes from memory in the most distilled version possible
3. Compare this to the original notes and add what I missed out
4. List my mistakes and turn these into flashcards
5. Test myself with AI questions
I’m retaking the SQE as my first attempt was a fail. I’m using Barbri and I have been preparing for this since last August. I started with a light review of the material and then focused on getting all of my lectures done with MCQ practice as it came up on my PSP. Now I’m wrapping up my readings while doing recall through practice tests. I’m due to finish my readings by end of next week which gives me 2 solid months of just practice.
I should preface that I work full time and commute into the City each day which takes up a lot of my time.
