Is attaching a blind CV indicative of removing both the names of the workplaces and academic institutions, or does it solely mean removing the academic names?

@Jessica Booker would appreciate your input on this, thanks in advance :)

How does everyone tend to approach application questions such as: "Describe a particularly challenging experience you have faced and the way you dealt with it. This could be an incident from any part of your life" ?

Do you tend to go for examples from work/extra curricular activities and show how you worked through it or more thematic examples from life/experience more generally?

Baker McKenzie holding email says:

We will review applications on a rolling basis and you will be advised if you are successful to progressing to the next stage, an online test, by no later than 31st December 2022.

I am assuming the 2022 is a typo lol

Has anyone heard back about the online assessment?
The 31st date could be a mistake too considering how late they opened apps.

The email I received said:

Thank you for taking the time to complete Baker McKenzie's online application form for a place on our Spring Vacation Scheme.

We will review applications on a rolling basis and you will be advised if you are successful to progressing to the next stage, an online test, by no later than 29 January 2024.

The next stage of the process will be a video interview and these will be sent to candidates in February 2024.

If you are successful at the video interview, you will be invited to attend an Assessment Centre, these will take place on the following dates:

20th, 22nd, 27th or 29th of February 2024.

Kind regards

I am still waiting on the WG for hogan Lovells, I thought you were sent it automatically upon submitting? I submitted my app on the 22nd and still waiting :(
It is not reviewed, so whether you have received it yet or not has no bearing... unless you are concerned about applying fast as its rolling. HL notoriously take a while to send the WG despite it being "automatic"

I am currently working on Reed Smith’s application and was wondering for the question “Focusing on one of Reed Smith’s sectors, what current issues do you think will impact this sector? What opportunities or challenges could this present Reed Smith or our clients? (300 words)” Do I have to talk about more than one issue? I‘ve picked one issue to dive into and that was already 250 words. I feel like I won’t be able to cover the issue in depth otherwise. Anybody has similar experience or advice?

Can someone confirm if these are T&H questions:

Who are our main competitors and how do we differentiate ourselves from them?

What makes you particularly suited to a career at Trowers & Hamlins compared to other applicants?

Describe a recent commercial news story that interested you and explain how it relates to us.

Please tell us about your interests, extra-curricular activities and achievements you're particularly proud of.
