hi, i did a vac scheme at slaughters last year. like what Jessica said, all you have to do is tell them why you think the multi-specialist approach and that kind of training would be beneficial for your development, and draw comparisons with a different style of training at other firms. my supervisor was in 'finance' i.e. did everything from debt finance to capital markets to PE = being able to do a range of different areas keeps his career interesting. but there are drawbacks ofc

Should be after you accept an offer - it may well be only shortly before you start

• In no more than 400 words tell us about your extra-curricular activities, positions of responsibility and an achievement of importance which you are most proud of.

Did any of you have the interviewers at the technical interview ask you to talk about an online retailer? I think there might have been a mix-up with the article assignment. More generally how did you find the technical interview to be? I found it to be quite challenging.

Hey! Recently got rejected from a city law firm’s Asian office post vac scheme. Myself and a couple of other vac schemers noticed that they are giving way less TCs than what we were initially told, to the point that they essentially abolished a whole intake. Does anyone know how common does this happen?
