Lawyers Without Borders at Queen’s University Belfast is a student led division founded in January 2019 to promote the rule of law, human rights and international law. We host a wide range of academic and social events throughout the year.
We also have exciting ongoing projects new to the 2020/21 academic including the launch of ‘Carpe Omnia’ (‘Seize Everything’) our new monthly magazine where members can contribute as content writers focusing on commercial awareness,international law, human rights, legal updates and career progression. In September, we will also be launching a human rights, commercial awareness and legal webinar series called ‘Discendo Discimus’ (‘Through teaching we learn’), which will work as a collaboration with other law societies throughout the UK!
We believe that through the different aspects of the society, members can have a well rounded enjoyable experience whilst they progress in their legal career.
