Just got a VS offer for Sidley! (it has been 3 weeks since I had my interview!) so grateful🥺
Hi all - does anyone know how many interviews there are for the Stephenson Harwood VS process? I have done the critical reasoning test and have been invited to a 'first interview' - does anyone know what this entails or whether there is another interview that follows this one? Any insight/help would be great!

re HSF post-AC questions: sounds like they're busy atm but even without that added layer, I know of a couple of people who got their offer a good few days later so try not to read into the silence too much and congrats on the ACs!

Me reading this after emailing Withers two days ago for an update and the firm replying “we have received loads of applications and have not sent out interview invites yet” 🥲🥲🥲🥲Hi everyone! I was wondering how long does it roughly take for Withers to get back to you after interview for VS? Thank you!
Yes a written case study. There are some competency questions and more about your journey to law tooamazing thank you so much! Just to clarify, a written case study task rather than a case study discussion? Also, are the questions mainly competency based ones? Thanks
I just finished mine a few moments ago.
don't waste your time preparing any why mishcon/why law/competencies/ or even questions to ask your interviewer.
you essentially give a 10 min presentation answering the 3 questions on the case. then you have 20 mins where the interviewer asks you questions to expand on each of those 3 questions.
it's quite straight forward, there are no curve balls 0 just thinking about benefits and risks, and analysing a balance sheet. felt more like a Strat consulting interview than a law interview - no legal knowledge required whatsoever.

Yeah, I heard back yesterday with an offer. But that is a week earlier than expected.
