I've heard that they're notorious for taking really long to respond so hold tight! I'm waiting to here from them too if that helps.

    Ask A Graduate Recruiter Anything!

Hi @Jessica, Is it worthwhile mentioning future events that you will be taking part in on your VS/TC application? If so, how do you go about doing so? For example, say you'll be at an event in December but you have to hand in your application before then, is it worthwhile mentioning? Thank...

    Ask A Graduate Recruiter Anything!

Hi Jessica, With regard to jobs to do after uni whilst you apply for training contracts, does it look bad if you get a job that's completely separate to law (e.g sales or as a zookeeper), or do potential firms not care what you do in the meantime as long as your application is stronger? I know...

    Ask A Graduate Recruiter Anything!

Hi Jessica, Hope you're well! When reapplying to a firm, if the firm asks to only reapply if there has been "significant changes to your application", does this only mean grades, or can it also mean work experience? Thanks for your help:)

Slaughter and May Training Contract Application 2022

I got a "your application is still under consideration" email, but this was only after I emailed asking for an update. I don't think there's an automated email that says this but I could be wrong!

I completely relate! I genuinely really liked AG and loved their Manchester office, so logging in and seeing that "application unsuccessful" really hit me hard. It was also my best application but it is what it is I guess... Despite that, I encourage you to keep going! You're bound to be...

This happened to me! It's so weird that they don't send rejection emails. As heartwrenching as they are to receive, it's better than having to log in and be let down lol

    General Discussion Thread 2020-21

So Slaughters just got back to me and said my application is still under consideration and that I'll hear back "in the next 2-3 weeks". Pretty sure I will have pulled off all my hair by then, but I guess I'm just going to have to keep waiting!

Has anyone heard anything from Slaughters and May? I applied on 16 June and they asked me for grades last month (which I gave them) and I've heard nothing since:(

If it helps, you have to log onto your portal to check for an update on your AG and TLT apps. They don't send emails and it wasn't until I logged into my portal that I saw I was unsuccessful.

    General Discussion Thread 2020-21

My application says "Completed - Updated: Jun 12 2020" and I've heard absolutely nothing yet so I'm just as confused as everyone else. It makes me even more nervous that people who applied after me are being sent WGT invites and I'm not! But I think we'll drive ourselves crazy trying to figure...
