Affiliated in 2012, the University of Nottingham Negotiation Society is a student-run society that celebrates the art of negotiation. We aim to improve the employability of our members by teaching them how to negotiate and provide them with a forum to practice and improve their negotiation skills alongside like-minded individuals. Throughout the year we run workshops covering negotiation technique, practice sessions to enable members to identify ways in which they can improve, and each semester we run a Negotiation Competition open to all our members. Last year we introduced a Practice Workshop Series to provide our members with an additional opportunity to practice a competition-style negotiation and receive feedback ahead of the competition, and this year we look forward to helping our members improve their commercial awareness in partnership with The Corporate Law Academy. We are a career-oriented group made up of motivated, hard-working students and we look forward to taking the society to new heights over the next year
