Did you apply for Spring and Summer? and are you post VI?The SH holding email made me jump lol, it's always just so ominous when it's an automated email from Candid with the subject being "your application"
Summer only, no VI yetDid you apply for Spring and Summer? and are you post VI?
I got a holding email today!I think SH just doesn't send a PFO email if they don't consider your app. I applied back in October and selected all three schemes (winter, spring and summer) and haven't heard anything, not even a holding email. That being said, I have seen SH send test/interview invites in April/May so I wouldn't lose hope completely. Just for those that applied 6 months ago, it's pretty poor communication from the firm imo.
Same!Hill Dickinson holding email!
What office did you apply to? Im yet to receive a holding email for the London Insight Scheme + Birmingham TC.Same!
I would wait until next week as they might be really busy and with the holidays coming up they might not be as responsive. Send an email after the 8th of April if you do not hear anything before then.Had an interview last Wednesday and they said they’d get back to me end of the week/ beginning of this week. Still nothing, should I send an email to ask, or would this be too pushy?
Congratulations!! Very well done!Bakers summer vs!! Thanks to everyone who offered help and advice on the process!

Vs but already done! Quite disappointed in my attempt. I ran out of time and I know I had spelling and gramma errors I didn’t fix! It went so fastis this for vs or direct tc?
From my experience it’s unprecedented every time! That word is so overused. I remember getting told that when applying for entry level legal jobs in Australia like 5 years ago. Never changes. Why are we getting so many law firms saying they got unprecedented number of apps? Just off my head, I can remember that SH, Akin, Cooley, Dechert all said this. Are they being nice to not hurt applicants feeling, are some firms just getting more visibility or is the number of career seeker in the legal industry increasing in general? Genuine curiosity🧐
AI is partly to blame (apparantly) as more people are resorting to it to churn out applications. Why are we getting so many law firms saying they got unprecedented number of apps?
